if it were only that easy

This house selling business is tough stuff y'all.

HGTV has totally deceived me making it look so easy breezy with it all wrapped up into a 30 minute segment with a bow on top and lots of happy smiley faces.

Where's the woman in the corner curled up in the fetal position convinced she will loose her mind at any moment if she has to vacuum one more time that day?

Yeah let's see that episode.

So here's we're we at.

A few offers, a contract that fell apart a week later, and yesterday a second contract that they terminated because of a change of heart at the last minute.  Major bummer.

I was telling someone that the hardest part basically trying to live in a model home and then having to stay somewhat close to the house at all times to grab the dogs if we have a showing.

She was like oh I know I was a mess it's such a headache.

And then I'm like "wait didn't you sell your house in a week?" Ha!

I know God's perfect timing is behind all of this, He'll put us where we need to be when we need to be.  So, I'm waiting and vacuuming.

I can't even imagine all the housework to sell a house given the pug hair. Ha! Hope it is stress free the rest of the way and all over soon.

I feel for you!! Our house has been on the market for 9 months now. Lots of showings, lots of positive feedback, but ZILCH on real offers. We are taking it off the market in a couple of weeks and throwing in the towel. I hope your week gets better and your house sells quickly.
