Tell me your favorites

So I'm searching around for a new devotional/bible study and thought I'd take it to the blog for some good recommendations. I've just finished a Max Lucado so you know something you can really dig in to, so leave me a comment and tell me your list of favorites that have really blessed you!

I really enjoyed Beth Moore's Daniel. It was neat to have the prophecy of that book tied together and explained in a way I could understand ... maybe your church will have the DVD's that you could borrow if you do this one b/c they were SOOOO helpful.

Also Kay Arthurs are great as well!

I really really enjoyed Beth Moore's Living Free!! Her studies are fantastic and it really helped me to see things in a whole new light! Good luck finding one that is right for you right now!

It goes without saying that anything by Beth Moore would be a great study...
I wonder if Anne Graham Lotz may have one out to do in the near future...
and BTW Angela at Refresh My Soul has a bible study she created you might like too:) Her link is on my blog.

Anyway, I guess I got nothing for ya, I am in the process of personal study, and let me tell you its personal, God will only speak to me when I am alone with Him, and its been an amazing experience:)

Hope you are well:)

If you're looking for a book, try John Piper's "Desiring God." It's meaty, but eye-opening.

Otherwise, anything by John Ortberg is usually good.

Beth Moore is always a super choice, but I also really enjoyed a study I did once called
Experiencing God. It really helped me recongnize how God was speaking to me even in the small things.

I am not sure how I came across your blog, but I am glad I did! One of my favorite blogger friends Angie over at Bring the rain is getting ready to do an online bible study, Beth Moore's Stepping Up. Go over and check her out. I love your blog!http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com/
