Eleven years old, and still yearning for belly rubs. Her breathing was labored last evening, and she's not been eating well recently, so we figured it was a matter of time. But it's still a hard morning. He was one of 8 puppies, but by the time I got there (three hours away) there were only three left and he was the only boy. He was also the craziest. Should have been my first clue. When I brought him home the first thing he did was run to the dining room of my apt. and poop on the wall.

After Rob and I got married I began to search for a "sibling" for Winston and found Sela on Pug Rescue of Florida's website. They said she was two years old and missing an eye. Her pic was so sweet that I applied before telling the hubby. When we went to pic her up she had horrible Demodex that took several months to clear up and the vet also informed us that she was about seven months old, not two years old! She's been torturing Winston ever since.Pagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05850055627344999065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4178120149412945093.post-63538022231154034912009-08-16T16:09:34.723-05:002009-08-16T16:09:34.723-05:00We got Dahlia from the San Diego Pug Rescue. We found her through a breeder that we found online. We had to drive 3-4 hours to get her...and picked her out of two puppies. It was SO hard to pick....I didn't want to leave the other one "alone." A...we got Zoe a couple months after we got married. A friend had gotten a dog from a pet store that got sick within the first year that they had him. The pet store offered them another dog and the MIL went and picked out Zoe. My friend wanted a Big dog. 9 ounce Zoe did not fit that bill. So they knew we were *thinking* about a dog and sent her with my mom. My grandmother had just had a stroke and my mom was on her way to see us. She brought her to us in a tiny gift bag and smuggled her up to the room my grandmother was in. she was only 9 ounces and fit in the palm of my hand. She is the BEST dog in the world!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658772081575297482noreply@blogger.com
